Sometimes I think all you need to do these days in order to create a trendy logo or identity, is set the word “Brooklyn” in a script font. Of course, in this golden age of typography, not just any script would do. And that’s why I can’t throw the Brooklyn Taco brand into the trendy category. It’s just too good. The lettering is clearly custom, with swashes seamlessly flowing in and around each letterform. The triangle pattern border is a clever homage to Mexican art, and the black, red, and orange color scheme is spot on. Is the food any good? I don’t know. I guess I’m not trendy enough to live in Brooklyn. But the design, well that’s pretty damn good.
