Your free font fix arrives a little early this week, in the form of Paul Soulellis’ geometric Stetson. I’ve admired Soulellis’ work for some time now, and was surprised to see he offered his typographic exploration as a free download on his site. Stetson was created from a small photograph of hand-drawn type found in a shed in Weymouth, Massachusetts. The original type was on the chest of a shoe display, and read, “E. H. Stetson and Co.” Paul Soulellis specifically designed the font for a book titled, Weymouths. Read more about Paul’s art and design at soulellis.com, and download the font here.
